Anyway, though i still got the originals, i've been unable to play them since i've stored my psx and ps2 away. Now however, they've all been released on psn, i bought all 3 and have really missed playing them XD I have to say, the skateboarding minigames in the third game is probably my favorite part aside from boss fights and chasing thieves .
(I still remembered the code to make Spyro change colours Pause and input ^ < v > ^  r1 r2 l1 l2 ^ > v < ^ then the button for the colour you want or ^ and v)
I believe the rights to Spyro actually belongs to Activision right now? But props to Insomniac for the original creation and design.
How I could miss the epic skateboard!? ;________________;

Wait, WHAT?!? Are you saying you don't have a PS3, but have a PSP instead? You didn't know that you can play PS1 disc games on the PS3?
I can actually play the original disks on my computer via ePSXe, but 2 and 3 have anti-piracy protection that acts up because I'm not playing on an actual PSX. I've extracted a subpanel ppf patch from the disk but Spyro 3 is still a bit buggy and can't be finished
I love this picture! <3
I enjoyed all the Spyro games, but the original and Spyro 2, Ripto's Rage have to be my favorites, especially as far as replayability goes. I loved the newer Dawn of the Dragon to bits but it's replay value fades over time. It was amazing the first play through though. c:
The Legend of Spyro games, though i really enjoyed the story (And i really like Cynder) they wern't great in terms of gameplay compared to the first 3 and i think thats what makes its feel a bit tedious to play over again >< the first 3 has some nice, smooth controls and it was fun to just explore the home worlds on their own
I need more of these games! Games that actually require me to concentrate really really hard >< Games nowadays are too soft DX I just had a game's "Endless" mode end because i managed to max out my score and it couldn't get any more difficult DX and i'm losing my edge as a result too! Last time i played the original Mario land's hard mode, it was actually hard!! DX
I inputted that code so many times, i knew the movements by heart XD I can't recite it off the top of my head, but hand me a playstation controller and it'll just flow through.
It was practically all mini-games and side quests XD Getting through a level was just a part of the game, you still needed to collect a certain number of dragon eggs/power cells/rescued dragons/gems too, and everything could be replayed without starting a new game, but not all had to be completed to finishe the game either (Unless you're a completionist like me DX).
If you got the originals, you can actually run the disks on your computer on an emulator called ePSXe. As long as your computer is decent and has a CD drive, ePSXe can emulate the game through the original CDS. Otherwise, get the games on PSN
Yeah >< I'm missing the gold crown large and small mosters too DX I also love to make all the weapons and armour sets ><
If you got a ps3, you can get the original 3 games (Spyro the Dragon, Spyro: Gateway to Glimmer/Ripto's rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon) on Psn. Imo, these were the best of the series
