My animation guides, previously only on my journal, are now available as proper deviations for submission into groups... And for anyone who doesnt follow my Journels =p

Please support my channel by leaving a like, comment or sharing it with friends. If you like what you see, please consider subscribing as I occasionally post previews of animations before they make it to my DeviART.

Do you save the frames as separate layers in Gimp?

yes, I draw each frame as a seperate layer and export each one individually.

For these, i used GIMP to draw the frames, Hypercam to record myself drawing sections where nessessary, After Effects for any more complex parts and Premier to put everything together.

But really, all you need is a decent drawing program like Photoshop or GIMP (Which is free), something to compile them like Monkeyjam (Also free) and the initiative to work with what you've got =p
